  • 2.1 Personal Information Provided by You – YFAA Services include online back office, bookkeeping, and accounting services which are designed for small, medium-sized businesses and large corporation. The information We gather enables Us to personalize, improve, and continue to operate the Services. In connection with certain aspects of the Services, We may request, collect, and/or display some of Your Personal Information on Your Account. “Personal Information” is information that can be used to directly identify a person, and may include information such as the individual’s name, email address, telephone number, bank statements, credit card information, and accounting and financial information. We may collect Personal Information directly from You when You: i) Register to use the services; ii) Use the Services; iii) Contact the YFAA support team; and/or, iv) Visit the Website. You may choose not to provide Your Personal Information, but it may result in Us being unable to provide You with Our Services.

  • 3.5 When Your information is used outside of YFAA or such third parties assisting them, You will not be identified as the source of the information, nor will any of Your personally identifiable information be compromised. For example, Your information may be aggregated or anonymized so that it is not personally identifiable.

Your Account is secured by a user-created password and SHA256 encryption technology. YFAA takes certain, limited steps to protect Your Accounts and content. YFAA restricts access to your information to those individuals (such as contractors and employees) who need access to such information to perform their jobs. YFAA does not guarantee the security of Your account, content, or passwords, and You are solely responsible for the security of the login credentials. You post Content at your own risk.
  • 6.2 Responsibility for Securing User Login Credentials – However, the Internet is not in itself a secure environment and We cannot give an absolute assurance that Your Personal Information will be secure at all times. Transmission of Personal Information over the Internet is at Your own risk, and You should only input, or instruct the inputting of, Personal Information to the Services within a secure environment. Further, even after removal, copies of content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other users have copied or stored content.

7. YOUR RIGHTS
  • 7.1 You may Request Access to Your Personal Information – It is Your responsibility to ensure that the Personal Information You provide to Us is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. You may need to send separate requests to be removed from each specific mailing or messaging list to which You are subscribed.

8. RETENTION
  • 8.1 We’ll only keep Your Personal Information for as long as We require it to provide You with the Services. We make available the stored data for 180 days, to allow the customers the make use of the stored data such as PDFs of filing data, transaction history, or invoices, to assist the customer in reproducing them. Upon termination or expiration of services, the stored data will be available for ninety (180) days, ending at which the data shall be deleted. However, We may also be required to keep some of Your Personal Information for specified periods, for example under certain laws relating to corporations, money laundering, and financial reporting legislation, and to comply with professional standards.
  • 8.2 You Have Certain Rights Under the California Privacy Laws – Under California Civil Code sections 1798.83-1798.84, California residents are entitled to:

9. PRIVACY POLICY FOR CHILDREN
  • 9.1 In compliance with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Website, Our Services, and Products are not directed towards, or meant for access by children under the age of 13. Any access to our Website, Services, and Products by any child between the ages of 13 to 18, is to be monitored by a parent or guardian and needs to be done with their consent. Any unsupervised access to Our Services or Products by children under the age of 13 to 18, is prohibited and will be terminated upon discovery.
